Snickerdoodle
Hummus
Makes 2 Cups
Craving something sweet? Try this
minimally sweetened snickerdoodle
hummus, packed with plant-based
protein and served with water-rich apples
or pears. Talk about the perfect snack!
1 (15.5 ounce) can garbanzo beans,
drained and rinsed
1/4 cup almond butter
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
In a food processor, combine beans, almond butter,
applesauce, maple syrup, vanilla, and one teaspoon of
ground cinnamon. Cover and process 30–60 seconds,
or until smooth. Spread in a shallow dish or pie plate,
sprinkle top with remaining cinnamon, and serve with
apple or pear slices.
